Well kind of… Just a quick post to let you know that an image taken at the location used for our Red Deer Photography workshops has been selected for the shortlist of the Scottish Biodiversity Week 2010 Photographic Competition exhibition at Edinburgh Zoo as part of the Edinbrugh festival.
"A 30-image exhibition featuring spectacular images of Scotland’s wild places and animals, taken by Scotland’s people, on the theme ‘Emotions’. People are increasingly distant from experiencing nature as part of their everyday lives. What is this doing to people’s awareness of nature and their desire to experience other living things and natural places? This exhibition joyously exclaims that a connection with nature still exists in the hearts of many. The images were submitted to a Nature Photography Competition, run as part of Scottish Biodiversity Week 2010 and co-ordinated by Scottish Natural Heritage"
